I have worked with therapists and practiced yoga but Mary Beth bridges a gap between the two. I sometimes refer to her as more than a therapist, but also a spiritual advisor. Mary Beth utilizes breathing techniques or mindfulness concepts that I can build upon with my yoga practice which has been beneficial in all areas of my life, especially through difficult times. Mary Beth has helped me take the next step in discovering the person I truly am and finding real happiness within myself.

Working with Mary Beth has been a truly transformative experience. She is a gentle teacher who guides and empowers you to find and own your deepest strengths and heal any disconnection between the heart and mind. Through the work that we have done, I have grown exponentially and identified, accepted, and integrated the lost pieces of my soul that were holding me back and preventing me from living boldly.

When I first arrived in Mary Beth’s office I was eroded with depression and struggling with feelings of hopelessness. I was sure I was losing a battle within myself, but she gently and compassionately helped me to uncover the destructive behaviors, patterns, and thoughts that were contributing to my difficulties. I was then imparted with a cache of new positive skills that I work to keep me grounded and honor the guidance of my own intuition. Had I not had the courage to step into her office, I wonder where I would be. I can say that today I am thriving; I am not only successfully managing a lifelong struggle with depression and anxiety, I have arrived at a place where I feel joy and appreciation for having had these experiences.

I am deeply grateful for Mary Beth and the commitment to her work. Her wisdom and leadership have been invaluable in my journey.  She is highly skilled and gifted at what she does. Whether you are looking to grow through self-improvement or lay to rest a persistent struggle or trauma, I cannot recommend her enough

I sought out Mary Beth's counseling at a very arduous time in my life. My wife was battling a very advanced form of Parkinson's Disease for 8+ years and was now in a nursing home. With a 12-year-old son to raise in addition to managing a business, things were becoming unbearable. Having found Mary Beth via a friend referral, we embarked on a beautifully holistic and highly professional relationship. The philosophy and approach she takes is very refreshing. I have been to a dozen individuals of the course of my 55 years, from psychiatrists to mental health counselors. Mary Beth is extremely intuitive and compassionate. Through a unique blend of text book psychology, mind - body exercises and inspirational readings (books), she has so helped me. I am very grateful to Mary Beth and highly recommend her services.

My work with Mary Beth helped me become aware of, process, and connect with my emotions during a difficult period of my life. Through talk therapy, breathing techniques, and yoga exercises, Mary Beth provided a range of tools and experiences that I carry with me and continue to apply independently. One of my favorite sessions was spent at a nature preserve near the office. I valued the opportunity to be outdoors and escape the conventions of a therapy session: something Mary Beth does physically and symbolically in her practice.
